At The Horror of it all my aim is to review movies as best I can but to get straight to the point.
The plan is to cover a wide range of horror movies, from the big budget new releases to the shoestring budget indie shockers that grace the underground. I've always had a problem with people who dismiss a certain type of movie, at the end of the day Horror is horror and that's all that matters.
At the moment I'm getting through a huge 'to watch' pile and a lot of the dvd's waiting for a spin are complete bollox so trying to get motivated to endure the shit is the hardest thing. It would be easy to sit down and watch classics like The Thing or Halloween but where is the challenge in that? Although I am defo going to cover the classics as I catch up with them again.
Also planning to cover as much Metal news as possible but I'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to latest news as I'm a fan of the old school 80's and 90's thrash/death metal scene so I'll probably review some classic albums and of course bands that are still going from 'back in the day'.
I started with the first 10 years of Slayer..just an outline on the albums, nothing too exciting but fitting it is Slayer as IMO they are the greatest metal band ever. They have continued as they started..no bullshit just great dark thrash metal.
Games section will probably only cover PS3 for the most part but other platforms like mobile devices and some old PS2 games too.
I am also going to put up some of my artwork on the site. I like to paint and have done a few horror related pieces.
